Last night at home. I had such a nice day today but now I’m shattered. I’m nervous and excited for tomorrow. Everyone I’ve spoken to so far seems really nice so I’m hoping for the best!
French Graffiti artist Tilt has transformed a Marseille Hotel Room with incredible artwork. The room was divided in half by a clear line with one side being entirely white and the other being completely covered in graffiti, including the bed sheets, the mirror and even the magazines.
“There is nothing down here,’ said the pale thing indistinctly. ‘Nothing but dust and damp and forgetting.”
“I drag myself out of nightmares each morning and find there’s no relief in waking.” - Finnick Odair.
you know those people who are just luminous, like they’re so beautiful and everything they do is endearing and all you can do is stare and hope that some of their light hits you someday. maybe it’s not even romantic but they’re just such people, they’re humans, and they’re so beautiful that you cannot make yourself look away
My Reading University Fine Art summer project all finished and ready to be sent of for exhibition!
Taking the concept of mail artists using this system to exhibit their work to the world via letters, I created 9 pieces of mail art depicting various social, political and environmental issues that affect the world today. Inspired by the work of artists such as Joseph Huben and Pawel Kuczynski, I aimed to create thought provoking images and illustrations about these issues on letters and parcels that would theoretically be sent out in order to be seen by people, enlightening them to these issues. Each postcard contains a variety of world stamps to reflect that these are problems seen all over the world and felt by everyone. Ironically, the letters are also colourful and fairly simplistically illustrated, creating a childlike/ innocent effect on what can be seen as darker world issues.
